Loudoun County School Administration Building

SWSG provided structural design of cold-formed steel wall system and roof trusses for a new 100,000 SF school administration building. Structural engineering was provided for cold-formed steel framing repairs to arch window at the front of a new four-story building where members were cut by others. Services include field visits, sketches, connection details, and calculations. SWSG also provided structural engineering for cold-formed steel framing repairs to roof trusses cut by others to allow placement of HVAC ducts.

SWSG provided structural engineering for cold-formed steel exterior framing to a new 228,000 SF one-story high school. Services included plan layout drawings, sections, connection details, headers, sills, jambs, and calculations. Classroom floor framing was provided for Rooms F111 and F112 and gymnasium interior wall framing. Cold-formed framing was designed to support the decorative architectural feature above the media center and for bridge feature over the “Main Street” corridor to support flat screen TV’s over the school entrance.
