Rockville Senior Center Addition
Rockville, Maryland
Phase 1 feasibility studies are complete for the expansion of the Senior Center. Multiple focus groups have been interviewed, over 1,000 local residents and users have answered questionnaires. Phase 2 of the project to prepare construction documents is currently in progress. Once complete, the expanded facilities will double both the fitness center, and administrative spaces. The property will also accommodate additional parking yet maintain its present park-like setting.
Children's National Medical Center Tech Hill Data Center PDU Addition
Silver Springs, Maryland
SWSG is providing architectural and engineering services for the investigation of existing conditions of the AC power distribution, standby power system, UPS, HVAC, and fire protection systems. Phase 2 will include construction documents and administration.
Purcellville Historic Roller Skating Rink

Historical architectural and engineering services are being provided by SWSG for the preparation of construction documents for the structural repair of the 1903 timber-framed roller rink and bush meeting auditorium. Improvements include geothermal heating and cooling, energy efficient materials and systems, electrical upgrade, and ADA access.
Penguin's Sports Arena
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The new 720,000 SF multi-level Penguin's Sports Arena in Pittsburgh is on schedule to open October 2010. SWSG continues to provide structural designs and construction admin services for the cold-formed steel requirements .
Berkeley County Public Service Water District Maintenance Center & Administration/Customer Service Building
Martinsburg, West Virginia
After extensive investigations and the presentation of six design concepts prepared by SWSG, the Berkeley County Water Authority has selected a site that will combine their administrative/customer service building and maintenance facilities. The new 18,000 SF facilities are to be located at Cumbo Yard directly behind the water tower. Phase 2 construction documents are being designed.
